My name is Samuel Beam and I graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Environmental Biology and a minor in Spanish. I have experience working outdoors in the field collecting data as well as in the lab analyzing it. I have taken courses such as Field Ecology, Field Entomology, Animal Conservation Biology and Microbiology where I have learned about what all is necessary for a healthy, functioning ecosystem. I am familiar with a wide range of scientific and social principles that have to do with sustainability and environmental science. I also have experience with GIS and statistics and I am good at visualizing and managing data of all sorts. Throughout my life I have taken pride in being a trustworthy colleague that works hard and has an excellent attention to detail. I enjoy challenging myself and coming up with solutions to complex problems. My goal in life is to grow my knowledge of sustainability, environmental science and biology and use that knowledge to improve the natural world.
