Environmental Scientist and graduate of Wittenberg University with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and minors in Biology and Economics. Experience in wildfire, prescribed burning, invasive plant management, soil health, and water quality monitoring. Looking for environmental field and management positions.
Work closely with the Business Office and OSU Research Foundation to manage active projects and make recommendations regarding funding sources.
Prepare grant proposals, brochures, scientific manuscripts, and books.
Coordinate all logistics for the C-MASC.
Prepare presentations for professional meetings.
Perform habitat improvement and monitor ecosystem recovery though water quality testing, invasive plant management, as well as vegetation and wildlife surveys.
Perform data analysis, report writing, and seminar presentation.
Engage in community outreach through restoration activities with visiting school groups.
Measure and report weather, topography, and fuel variables for spot weather forecasts.
Perform habitat improvement projects, including wetland restoration, land surveying, and seeding.
Communicate fire safety information and recreation policies to the general public.
Perform trail and campsite maintenance.
Direct campsite and roadside clean-up projects.
