Volunteered at an animal shelter near where I live and shadowed a veterinarian at Petplex Animal Hospital where I was able to witness surgeries, patient care, and an overall idea of how a day is at the hospital. Went on a service trip my junior year of high school with other students to Peru. We helped a community with the construction of a building for the women to show and sell their art to help support their families.
