Job Summary:

The Focused
Factory Manager (FFMgr) leads, plans, organizes, and coach all activities of a
defined product packaging segment delivering targeted financial results. The
FFMgr will act in the capacity as operations leader for a newly established
operational facility. The FFNgr will implement systems, process improvements,
and ensures organization development to achieve the highest levels of safety,
service, quality, and productivity. This position will be responsible for implementing
the organizational strategy of a start-up plant which includes support systems
and organization design, roles, and capability. The FFMgr will benchmark KDC
regional operations and implement standards by operational excellence and proven
best practices. The Focused Factory Manager effectively collaborates, partners,
and engage in optimizing the entire supply chain.

Essential
Job Functions:

  • Lead, implement, improve, and maintain high
    levels of employee engagement ensuring good employee relations

  • Lead loss analysis work system and contribute
    as key customer in the site Daily direction setting system from line level
    to site level

  • Identifies, lead, and drive opportunities
    around equipment and/or methods to improve operational equipment
    effectiveness (OEE), LEAN manufacturing principles, labor utilization and
    quality requirements.

  • Target and controls operational costs,
    including but not limited to standard labor costs, inventory costs, scrap
    rates and equipment downtime, to ensure the production department operates
    within the set budget.

  • Establishes and/or revises Standard Operating
    Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WI’s) and benchmark best practices

  • Perform all work in a manner that is
    consistent with the company’s quality system and FDA good manufacturing
    practices

  • Follows, promotes and enforces KDC’s safety
    and environmental policies, practices and procedures

  • Manage product flow and inventory accuracy
    end-to-end for the assigned value streams

Education
& Experience:

  • BA/BS in Engineering or related technical
    field.In lieu of degree, 10 years of
    experience in filling and packaging environment.

  • Five years of management experience in a
    filling and packaging environment, preferably cosmetics or pharmaceutical

  • Experience with TPM is a must and fundamental understand
    LEAN manufacturing principles

  • SAP experience, strongly preferred.
